WHAT TO EXPECT

Free Consultation

I provide and encourage a free 15-minute phone or video consultation where we can chat about your concerns and determine if in-home speech therapy services are right for you and your little one. On this call we can discuss developmental milestones, my treatment philosophy, and refer you to community programs or additional services is needed.

Comprehensive Evaluation

If, after our consultation, I believe speech therapy is needed, I will conduct a comprehensive speech and language evaluation and provide you a written report outlining test scores, strengths, areas of need, and customized treatment goals.
If your child has had an evaluation in the last 6 months, we can start right away! I will review that evaluation and develop a treatment plan with Hutchins Home Therapy.

Speech and Language Therapy

If therapy is warranted, individual sessions will be conducted once or twice a week. We will establish a recurring day and time that works for you and your family. Sessions are 45 minutes in length, with a guaranteed 10 minutes after treatment for parent debrief, education, etc. Prepare to see your child's speech and language grow week by week!
